Dilkush (happy hearts) was inspired by uncles and friends who formed the original Dilkush band in the late 1970s who played successfully in the UK long before the likes of Alaap, DCS, and Malkit Singh. (Famous Bhangra bands).

Today, Dilkush run many workshops in and around Bristol including  Sefton Park Junior School, St. Werburghs Primary school, Patchway Community College and Whitefield Community school. We started out representing our school and the BAYC (Bristol Asian Youth Centre) on achievement evenings and festivals. 

Dilkush  have played with the likes of Malkit Singh, Gurdass Mann, DCS and the Dhol Foundation.
